UV Technology

After years of advanced research and development, HARPS Global has pioneered a breakthrough in glove manufacturing—leveraging photochemical processes activated by ultraviolet (UV) light to interlink the glove film. Developed at our Austrian facility, this proprietary process enables the production of sempermed® syntegra UV gloves without the need for traditional vulcanization accelerators.

By utilizing polyisoprene, a material that closely simulates the natural properties of latex, this innovation delivers the comfort, fit, and tactile sensitivity clinicians expect—while eliminating the risks commonly associated with chemical accelerators.

Born from Light

Our patented UV production process replaces conventional chemical cross-linking with UV-induced interlinking of polymer molecules. This eliminates the need for vulcanization accelerators—key contributors to contact allergies—making these gloves particularly beneficial in environments where skin sensitivity and long-term wear are critical.
